So, my sister had this idea one night to write a story about, like, vampire group therapy, so they could get over their addiction to sucking peoples’ blood. So she wrote on it, but i don’ think she wrote very much. I could be wrong. I decided to write on that topic, too. And I was going to get all famous. Then, I’m at Barnes and Noble and see this book by Catherine Something-or-other, who wrote Evil Genius, and it’s a book about a vampire support group to help vampires get over their addiction!! NO!!!!! Why did she have to write it???
So, for your information, those movies down there aren’t the only ones I am looking forward to. In fact, I’m pretty sure i’m seeing Limitless tonight. 🙂 thumbs up for Bradley Cooper. Also, I’m pretty sure X-Men First Class is coming out this year. w00t!
So, I’m reading a new book, Zombies Vs. Unicorns. Funny so far. Although, the second story was bad. As in dirty and languagey bad. So I skipped it. Anyway, this book is basically an anthology of Unicorn and Zombie stories submitted by authors loyal to one or the other. One of my favorite authors, Garth Nix, is on Team Unicorn. YES! Manly much?
Wednesday I saw Green Hornet, Tangled, and Voyage of the Dawn Treader. My favorite was Tangled. It was AMAZING. And, it was all I could do to keep from bawling my eyes out at the end. Narnia was good to, I liked it. Green Hornet could have been better, could have been worse. It was funny, but dirty, and there were a lot of those “That is so stupid. That isn’t possible.” moments. There wasn’t very much character development. So, yeah!
So, this year looks to be promising in the movie area. Here are the ones I look forward to, some more than others…
~Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
~The Green Hornet
~Battle: Los Angeles
~The Adjustment Bureau
~X Men: First Class
~Transformers: Dark of the Moon
~Captain America: The First Avenger
~Cowboys Vs. Aliens
And here are a few that are coming that deserve honorable mentions.
~The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made
~Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol
~ The Three Musketeers…. IT HAS LOGAN LERMAN! Dah!
Okay, so from left to right, there’s: Michael Buble’, Paul Thompson (Franz Ferdinand), Fabrizio Morreti (the Strokes), Adam Levine (Maroon 5), Guy Berryman (Coldplay), Sergio (Kasabian), and some guys from On the Rocks.
And, because I love them, here is On the Rocks, our own University of Oregon’s acapella choir, with “Bad Romance”.
Okay, so that last guy is Matt Hales. He’s not super hot, but he’s British and he reminds me of Martin Freeman. Just a little. P.S. He’s the singer for Aqualung.
Greyson Chance is recording an album!! AHHHH!!!
My biggest dream used to be to go to Comicon. But I recently, I discovered I have a new dream. I want to meet Greyson Michael Chance. I just watched his video and I was almost brought to tears! He is so friggin’ wonderful, and his falsetto is pure perfection. I have seen it lots of times, but this time, I don’t know, it was just especially wonderful. If I ever met him in person, I would seriously die. What if he and I sang together? It would be so wonderful! Maybe I can go to Oklahoma and get him to move to Oregon, and then convert him! Yeah!
